Runcan Versus Mustafov, Round Two

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov raised his J9 from the hijack and Paul Runcan three-bet AK to 10,000 in the big blind.

Runcan bet 5,000 on the KJ10 flop and 18,000 on the 8 turn. Mustafov called both times before Runcan checked the A turn. Mustafov put in a hefty bet of 65,000, around the size of the pot.

Runcan tanked for a little while before mucking the best hand, sending some chips back to Mustafov.

Frere Pushes De Souza Out

With around 6,000 in the middle on a flop of 6A2, Mallory Frere fired 2,400 and Belarmino De Souza made it 7,000. Frere called.

A J on the turn was checked through to the 9 river were Frere fired 20,000. De Souza eventually folded.

Wojciechowski Takes Four-Bet Pot on the Flop

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Pawel Wojciechowski opened to 2,000 from under the gun. Aram Sargsyan three-bet to 6,700 from the cutoff. Action folded around back to Wojciechowski who four-bet to 17,500. Sargysan called.

Wojciechowski then led out for 8,200 on the flop of 837. Sargysan went into the tank before folding.

Palma Hero Calls King-High

Nick Palma raised to 2,000 as first to act. Ran Shahar then three-bet his button to 5,500, which Palma called.

Shahar continued for another 5,500 on the AJ2 flop. Palma check-called to the 2 turn, which was checked through.

Palma checked to Shahar for a third time on the 4 river. Shahar slid in a tiny bet of 3,000, about one-eighth of the pot. Palma thought for some time and then tossed in a call.

Shahar could only show six-high with 65, while Palma had called him down with KQ for king-high and took down the pot.

Blom's Stack Back Above Starting

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Viktor Blom raised from early position to 2,000 and Mike Marquet called out of the big blind.

On the K2J flop, Marquet check-called a bet of 3,800 from Blom see a 5 drop on the turn. Marquet again went into check-call mode after Blom fired 9,600.

When the 6 hit the river, both players opted to check it down. Marquet shrugged his shoulders as if to say he had nothing, then revealed A10 for just ace-high. Blom then tabled K9 for a pair or kings, which earned him the pot.

Runcan Four-Bets, Wins Huge Pot

Anton Suarez sat under the gun and raised to 2,000. Fahredin Mustafov in the hijack three-bet to 6,500 before Paul Runcan made it a massive 24,000 to go in the big blind.

Suarez quickly folded his 104 but Mustafov called. Runcan and Mustafov both checked the QJ6 flop before Runcan bet 14,000 on the 6 turn.

Mustafov called, after which Runcan tossed in 35,000 on the 2 river. Mustafov weighed his options for a while but eventually decided to call. Runcan tabled KQ for top pair, beating Mustafov's 1010.
