Ticherfatine Puts a Massive Cooler on Nemeth

Heads-up on a flop of J105, Cecile Ticherfatine bet 35,000 from the button, Andras Nemeth moved all in for 120,000 in middle position, and Ticherfatine snap-called.

Nemeth showed top two pair, but Ticherfatine had JJ for top set and Nemeth found himself already drawing dead by the 4 turn. The river was the 7 and Nemeth was sent to the rail.

"We've seen some pretty sick hands today," tablemate Niklas Astedt said.

Kabrhel Warns Gumz, Warning Backfires

Fabian Gumz opened to 10,000 from middle position and Martin Kabrhel called from the small blind.

"Don't do anything stupid, I don't want to bust you," said Kabrhel.

They went to a flop of 9810 which Kabrhel checked, and Gumz make a continuation-bet of 13,000. Kabrhel then stuck in a check-raise to 53,000, and Gumz called.

A 3 dropped on the turn and Kabrhel fired 60,000, which Gumz called.

When the Q hit the river, Kabrhel checked, and Gumz knuckled back to take it to showdown. Kabrhel flipped Q6 for a pair or queens, but Gumz had a set with 99 to take the pot.

Turned Set Spells Doom For Zapolski Against Ensan

Hossein Ensan raised to 10,000 under the gun and Stanislaw Miadzel called in the cutoff. Krzysztof Zapolski then moved all in for 70,000 on the button, Ensan reshoved, and Miadzel got out of the way.

Ensan picked up a straight draw on the J95 flop, and the 10 turn gave Zapolski a set but also completed Ensan's straight. Zapolski failed to fill up on the A river and was sent to the rail.

It didn't look great for Kovalchuk but his situation got slightly better on the flop of 3JJ as he picked up a flush draw. A 5 on the turn was red, but not the right suit for Kovalchuk. Nonetheless, at his final attempt at survival, Kovalchuk found the 9 on the river and hit a flush to double up.

Valentin Oberhauser raised to 8,000 from middle position with Sebastian Gahl calling from the button and Alessandro Pichierri defending out of the big blind.

Oberhauser bet 14,000 when checked to on the 872 flop and only Pichierri called.

Piechierri led out for 20,000 when the A came on the turn and Oberhauser called.

The J river saw Pichierri bet 66,000 and after some pondering, Oberhauser called. Pichierri turned over J4 for a flush to win the pot.

Angelov Lassoes a Chunk of Chips From Ko's Stack With Cowboys

David Dongwoo Ko on the button and Boris Angelov from the big blind went to a flop of 4910 with around 100,000 in the middle. Angelov was first to act and fired out 55,000, which Ko called.

The 4 turn was checked through to the 6 river where Angelov shoved for 313,000. Ko was running the hand through in his mind and trying to piece together the puzze, then after around a minute, he made the call.

Angelov flipped KK for an overpair to the board, and Ko was forced to show 33 for a pair of threes, which were no good.

Ko's stack takes a hit but he still has around double the average, and Angelov storms up the counts with around 850,000.

Jaros Hits a Million With a Four-Bet

Majid Alimoradpour raised to 14,000 in middle position before Jacob Amsellem three-bet to 34,000 in the hijack. Patrik Jaros four-bet to 80,000 in the small blind and only Amsellem called.

The flop came 765 and Jaros bet 65,000. Amsellem took a minute before folding as Jaros asked the dealer to choose one of his cards. The dealer flipped over the A and shipped the pot to Jaros, who hit the 1,000,000 chip milestone.

Reixach Can't Shake Ko

David Dongwoo Ko raised to 9,000 under the gun and Sergi Reixach called on the button.

Ko checked to Reixach on the 9K8 flop and Reixach bet 7,000. Ko called and checked again on the 7 turn. Reixach then bet 42,000 and Ko called.

The river was the 5 and Ko checked for a third time. Reixach checked back this time and Ko showed KJ for top pair to win the pot.

This table, which has added Boris Angelov, has a bet currently going over how old the player who will fill the empty seat will be. Eyal Bensimhon even got tournament officials to join in on the bet.

"If you want to have fun stay here, because we are the most fun table," Darko Percic said.
