Claudio Di Giacomo raised to 300,000 in the small blind, Ivan Nikolov moved all in for 735,000 in the big blind, and Di Giacomo called.

Ivan Nikolov: Q1043 All in
Claudio Di Giacomo: AKK6

Di Giacomo was ahead with his kings, but the J52 flop gave Nikolov some hope with a flush draw. The 9 turn also gave him a straight draw as Tomasz Kozub pretended to cover Nikolov's eyes heading to the river, which came the J as Di Giacomo dodged all of Nikolov's outs to send him to the rail in fifth place.

Stefan Kostner opened from under the gun to 250,000 and Tomasz Kozub called on the button. Hristiyan Banov also came along from the big blind.

The three saw a flop of 2A7 which Banov checked, and Kostner fired 550,000. Kozub called, and Banov then shoved for 720,000. Kostner and Kozub both called.

With Banov already all-in, the turn brought a 9 and Kostner shoved for 940,000. Kozub snap-called.

Hristiyan Banov: AQJ5 All in
Stefan Kostner: AKJ5 All in
Tomasz Kozub: A1082

Kozub had two pair plus both straight & flush draws and was the favorite to score a double knockout. Kostner and Banov shared some cards but the miracle Q on the river gave the latter a bigger two pair, which gave him a triple-up.

The side pot went to Kozub, who was still scratching his head wondering how he isn't an overwhelming chip leader with four players remaining. Instead, only Kostner was eliminated which left five players in contention.
