Gheorghe Butuc
Gheorghe Butuc

Gheorghe Butuc has been involved in plenty of the last few hands but the overall result was a net loss in chips.

First, Butuc opened to 50,000 from under the gun and got called by Presiyan Tsvetanov in the big blind. On the 2K8 flop, Tsvetanov check-called a bet of 50,000 from Butuc.

Both checked the Q turn then Tsvetanov led for 150,000 on the 4 river. Butuc folded.

In the second hand, Claudio Di Giacomo made it 50,000 from the button and both Tsvetanov & Butuc called from the blinds.

The 595 flop was checked to the 8 turn where Butuc's 100,000-chip bet won him the pot.

Then, there were already a chunk of chips in the pot on a turn of 5KJ7 when Di Giacomo bet 100,000, and Butuc called.

On the K river, Di Giacomo bet 180,000 and after a long time, Butuc folded.
