Alioto Wins a Five-Way Pot Without Resistance

Level 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Florian Surkamp raised to 13,000 from early position and got four callers in Dario Alioto, Harald Casagrande, Davide Slanzi, and Israel Bulut.

All five players checked the 4J8 flop to the 5. It checked to Alioto who fired 36,000, then one by one all of his opponents at the table folded.

Sluis Bets Out Alioto

Dario Alioto bet 15,000 from under the gun on a flop of A95 and Dwayne Sluis came back with a raise to 45,000 in middle position.

Alioto called to see the K turn, where Sluis bet another 80,000. Alioto spent several minutes in the tank before releasing his hand as Sluis took the pot.

Pavel Izotov opened the hijack to 13,000 and got called by Volodymyr Kokoulin on the button.

They saw a flop of K26 where Izotov fired a continuation-bet of 30,000, and Kokoulin announced a pot-sized raised. Izotov didn't need to think for too long before he folded.

Damjan Radanov raised to 18,000 in early position before Samuel Klintmalm three-bet to 75,000 in the small blind. Radanov instantly splashed in a pile of grey 25,000 chips for a raise totaling 186,000. Klintmalm tanked for a minute before folding as Radanov took the pot.

The next hand, Volodymyr Kokoulin bet 40,000 on a flop of AQK and Radanov called.

Both players checked the 6 turn. Radanov also checked the 6 river and Kokoulin checked behind. Radanov turned over QQ85 for a flopped set that improved to a full house on the river, and Kokoulin let out a laugh before mucking.

Banov Snaps Off Hajtmanek

With around 120,000 in the pot on a board of 10KJ4, Hristiyan Banov bet 60,000 from middle position and Jan Hajtmanek called in the hijack.

Banov checked the K river and Hajtmanek moved all in for 120,000. Banov snap-called with AKQ10 for the nut straight and Hajtmanek instantly mucked his cards and headed for the exit. The dealer retrieved A865 before pushing the big pot over to Banov.

Davide Slanzi had opened from under the gun and got called by Dario Alioto on the button. Dwayne Sluis and Patrick Bueno also called from the blinds.

On the J6K flop, all four checked to the A turn. Sluis checked, Bueno bet 42,000, Slanzi folded, Alioto called, and Sluis called.

A 7 filled out the board and Sluis checked again, then Bueno bet 87,000. Alioto quickly called, and Sluis got out of the way.

Bueno showed KQJXx but Alioto held the winner with a set of aces holding AA54.
