Desset Makes a Frustrated Fold Against Kozub

Level 19 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Tomasz Kozub
Tomasz Kozub

Andrej Desset raised to 16,000 on the button and Tomasz Kozub and Krzysztof Palasz came along from the blinds.

The flop came AJ5 and Kozub led out for 27,000. Both Palasz and Desset called to see the 10 turn, where Kozub bet another 150,000.

Palasz quickly folded, but Desset let out a loud sigh and spent a few minutes in the tank before slamming his cards into the muck.

"Ace-five-four-deuce," he asked Kozub.

"That would make the most sense," Kozub replied.

"I had a double gutshot and two pair, but without the ace," Desset added.

Vidalis Leaves Grigas With Crumbs Heading to Dinner

Level 19 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Nebojsa Musulin raised to 20,000 in middle position and Gediminas Grigas called in the cutoff. Fragkiskos Vidalis then three-bet to 88,000 in the small blind and both opponents called.

The flop came KJ5 and Vidalis moved all in for 132,000. Musulin quickly folded, but Grigas called.

Fragkiskos Vidalis: AK52 All in
Gediminas Grigas: KJ92

"Finally, I can go to dinner. It's a flip," Grigas said once the cards were revealed. He was ahead with kings and jacks against Vidalis' kings and fives, but the 3 turn gave Vidalis the nut flush. The river was the 10 and Vidalis doubled up, leaving Grigas on an extreme short stack.

Level 20 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 987, Patrick Bueno bet enough from middle position to put Godefridus van Veghel all in, and Van Veghel called for his last 120,000.

Godefridus van Veghel: AQ107 All in
Patrick Bueno: KJ1010

Wirth Has Two Big Pairs Against Pham

Level 20 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Robert Wirth raised to 35,000 under the gun, Thi Pham moved all in from the big blind, and Wirth called for 156,000.

Robert Wirth: AAQQ
Thi Pham: QQJ6

Wirth had Pham crushed with his aces as Pham had no queens left in the deck to hit. The board ran out J5248 and Wirth improved to a flush to earn the double up.

"Wow, I wish I got hands like that," tablemate Gediminas Grigas said.

"You have to wait at least three hours," Wirth replied.
