Yang Gets it in Drawing Dead

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Dimitrios Anastasakis raised to 240,000 under the gun with Xiaohua Yang being the only caller out of the small blind.

After Yang checked the J56 flop, Anastasakis bet 150,000 and was immediately check-raised to 400,000 by Yang. Anastasakis called.

Yang quickly shoved for Anastasakis' remaining 1,150,000 upon seeing the 2 fall on the turn and Anastasakis snap-called.

Xiaohua Yang: 108

Further Success for Pignataro

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Luigi Pignataro had open-raised preflop and Rachid El Yaacoubi had defended his big blind when El Yaacoubi checked the A64 flop to his opponent.

Pignataro put in a bet of 355,000 and El Yaacoubi matched that bet. Both were checking the 10 turn before Pignataro put in 745,000 on the 7 river.

El Yaacoubi immediately flicked in a calling chip but mucked his cards just as fast when Pignataro tabled K10 for the nut flush.

Cazacu Cracks Nahm's Aces in Brutal Fashion

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Adrian Cazacu
Adrian Cazacu

Stephen Nahm called from the small blind before Adrian Cazacu raised to 325,000 out of the big blind. Nahm limp-raised to 900,000 and after doing a bit of inventory, Cazacu shoved for 4,250,000. Nahm instantly called.

Adrian Cazacu: AJ All in
Stephen Nahm: AA

Cazacu would need a miracle if he were to remain in the tournament. The flop of J710 offered a glimmer of hope to Cazacu in the form of top pair. However, the 2 turn meant only a jack on the river could save him, and when the dealer peeled of the J on the river to give Cazacu trips, he erupted in excitement by shouting

"Yes! Yes!, I'm the f#%king worst!"

Nahm remained stoic as ever while the majority of his chips were sent over to Cazacu.

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Thomas Eychenne made it 240,000 in the hijack and was called by Florian Duta on the button.

Eychenne checked to Duta on the 985 flop, after which the latter bet 275,000. Eychenne called to the Q turn, where he check-called a bet of 400,000 from Duta.

Nahm's Turn For a Lucky Double

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Gary Tatavarti raised to 260,000 in early position, Stephen Nahm moved all in for 1,165,000 in the cutoff, and Tatavarti called.

Stephen Nahm: K9 All in
Gary Tatavarti: 1010

The Q102 flop gave Tatavarti a set, while Nahm picked up straight and flush draws. The rest of the board ran out 3A and some players at the table wished Nahm "good game" before it was pointed out that he had made his flush on the turn to crack Tatavarti's set.

"I didn't even realize that," Luc Ramos said.

Frederic Marechal

Thomas Eychenne raised to 240,000 from the cutoff and Frederic Marechal three-bet to 600,000 from the button. After the blinds folded, Eychenne four-bet to 1,300,000 and Marechal five-bet jammed for 3,570,000. Eychenne snap-called to put Marechal at risk.
