Pollack Runs to House

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Juergen Pollack's last 14,600 chips flew in on a flop of J35 from middle position, with around 40,000 already in the middle. Adolf Buettner looked him up in the hijack, and a showdown was ordered.

Adolf Buettner: QJ74

Buettner had flopped better with his top pair but was trumped on the A turn. The A river upgraded Pollack to a full house and the players shared a fistbump while the pot was shipped to Pollack.

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Marek Uharcek raised to 7,000 in middle position and was called by Rostyslav Sabishchenko in the hijack. Gabi Livshitz then made it 29,000 to go in the big blind.

Uharcek made a quick fold before Sabishchenko put Livshitz all-in for 37,800 total. Livshitz called and the cards were flipped up.

Rostyslav Sabishchenko: AKJ10

The Q34 flop posed no threat for Livshitz's kings, but the K turn gave Sabishchenko a wrap. The 3 river saw Livshitz make a full house, however, and he raked in the pot, ending up with a slightly above-average stack.
