Volzhan Finds Hero Call on the River

Level 29 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action folded around to Valentin Schramm who called in the small blind. Edwin Volzhan checked his option.

Nik Ruangroj was all-in for around 400,000 and Davide Ceglia had also committed his stack of around 700,000 to the pot. Ionut Dumitru had a slightly covering stack and put them into the middle to create a three-way all-in pot.

Arduini Gets Value From Kribben

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Lorenzo Arduini
Lorenzo Arduini

Lorenzo Arduini opened to 65,000 from early position and Matthias Kribben defended from the big blind.

They saw a flop of 8K3 where Kribben check-called a bet of 50,000 from Arduini.

The 9 turn checked through to the 9 river where Kribben checked, and Arduini quietly announced a bet of 200,000, then put in a stack of 100,000, followed by another stack moments later. Kribben was arguing that it was a string bet, but the players backed up Arduini and said that he did announce the bet before he put the chips in. Kribben then thought for a moment and called.

Arduini showed K10 for top pair, and Kribben knuckled the table a few times before he mucked.
