Atac Ponders a Hero Call
Level 21
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Alex Foxen J♠J♦ raised 300,000 from the small blind, and Salih Atac Q♦8♠ defended his big blind.
Foxen bet 175,000 in the 5♥5♣3♣ flop, and Atac decided to float with his queen-high. The 9♣ turn checked through to the board double-pairing 3♥ river. Foxen fired out 785,000 and Atac mulled over his options, using a time bank while he thought. He ended up making the fold despite the tempations of a daring hero-call.
