Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Matjaz Vogrinec shoved from middle position for a little over 40,000 and Philipp Krieger moved all in from the button for 340,000. Shaun Deeb also shoved from the small blind for over 370,000, which put two players at risk.

Matjaz Vogrinec: A5 All in
Philipp Krieger: A8
Shaun Deeb: AJ

Deeb was on the verge of scooping a huge pot and joining the chip leaders, and put one foot toward that goal on the J8Q flop as he paired his jack. Vogrinec was left drawing dead on the 3 turn, and Krieger couldn't find a snowman on the 9 river.

Krieger didn't seem to think he was eliminated as was sure he had more chips than Deeb, but the dealer verified the stacks and Krieger was eliminated.

"I'm sorry, I must have miscounted. I didn't do it on purpose," said Krieger as he got up.

"No worries," replied Deeb as he raked in the pot to push his stack to almost 800,000.

Level 18 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jon Persent shoved from under the gun for around 75,000 and Hugues Girard went bounty-hunting from the button.
