The next hand, Melchers and Mateusz Sikora checked to the river in a limped pot between the blinds on a board of 5♣K♣9♦Q♥6♦. Melchers checked again on the river and Sikora bet 100,000, but Melchers then raised to 700,000.
Sikora called, only to be shown 8♠7♥ for the nut straight as Melchers took the pot.
