Nino Pansier had been among the big stacks before the first break but things then took a wrong turn when Ioannis Angelou Konstas flopped fours full of sixes for a very healthy double.

Pansier recovered very few chips a couple of minutes when he took on Jose Scarano preflop.

Kabrhel Chops With Kozub; Alioto Rises

On the heads-up turn of A♦K♠6♣J♥, Martin Kabrhel asked for the size of the pot and even had the dealer double check the amount before betting 55,000. Tomasz Kozub called and then also called Kabrhel's shove on the 9♥ river.

Kabrhel tabled the Q♥10♠8♠7♥ and Kozub chopped with the K♦Q♠J♣10♦.

Dario Alioto increased his stack when he first got paid with K♣K♦2♥2♠ for a double set on the K♠7♥2♣ flop and quads on the 2♥ turn with the 10♣ river completing the board.

Leszek Badurowicz then raised to 28,000 and Alioto called, asking if the bounties are already in play. When told no, Alioto said "I am only playing good hands" and then potted the 9♥7♦2♦ flop, Badurowicz folded. The Italian patted himself on the hands and bemoaned he should have checked.

In the meanwhile, Nolan Curatolo was eliminated to bring the field down to the last 25 players.

Over on the outer tables, Anh Do limped in from the small blind and called a pot-sized raise by Martin Kabrhel in the big blind.

Following the K♥10♦3♣ flop, Do check-called for 20,000 and did so again for 45,000 on the A♣ turn. Do then checked the A♠ river with around 70,000 behind. Kabrhel moved all in, and Do used four time banks while Kabrhel spoke with him in Czech.

Ultimately, Do called and was shown the K♠K♣J♣4♥ for kings-full. He only had the J♦J♣10♣9♠ for a bluff-catcher and bowed out in 25th place. The remaining 24 contenders will now be balanced across the final three tables with the next redraws at 16 and nine players.

A 4♠ hit the river and the action was checked down, where Kozub showed a full house with A♠Q♦10♠3♣. Casagrande mucked, and Loeser mucked his A♦K♠5♠2♦ and hit the rail.
