Yankov's pair and gutshot was up against aces and Badurowicz turned a set when the A followed. Now needing a ten to score the knockout, the Bulgarian missed on the 4 river.

In the meanwhile, Tamazi Skhirtladze was eliminated to bring the field down to the last 23 hopefuls with 18 Mystery Bounty prizes up for grabs.

To Do or Not to Do

Level 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Anh Do
Anh Do

Over on the outer tables, Anh Do limped in from the small blind and called a pot-sized raise by Martin Kabrhel in the big blind.

Following the K103 flop, Do check-called for 20,000 and did so again for 45,000 on the A turn. Do then checked the A river with around 70,000 behind. Kabrhel moved all in, and Do used four time banks while Kabrhel spoke with him in Czech.

Ultimately, Do called and was shown the KKJ4 for kings-full. He only had the JJ109 for a bluff-catcher and bowed out in 25th place. The remaining 24 contenders will now be balanced across the final three tables with the next redraws at 16 and nine players.

Kabrhel Chops With Kozub; Alioto Rises

Level 14 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On the heads-up turn of AK6J, Martin Kabrhel asked for the size of the pot and even had the dealer double check the amount before betting 55,000. Tomasz Kozub called and then also called Kabrhel's shove on the 9 river.

Kabrhel tabled the Q1087 and Kozub chopped with the KQJ10.

Dario Alioto increased his stack when he first got paid with KK22 for a double set on the K72 flop and quads on the 2 turn with the 10 river completing the board.

Leszek Badurowicz then raised to 28,000 and Alioto called, asking if the bounties are already in play. When told no, Alioto said "I am only playing good hands" and then potted the 972 flop, Badurowicz folded. The Italian patted himself on the hands and bemoaned he should have checked.

In the meanwhile, Nolan Curatolo was eliminated to bring the field down to the last 25 players.

Yankov Keeps Building Stack

Level 14 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Bouwe Claushuis is no longer the undisputed largest stack in the field as his table neighbour Krasimir Yankov has kept the feet on the pedals, raking in several pots with a log of aggression. In the latest hand, Yankov potted the AK93 turn against Ermanno Di Nicola and then started some table chater, putting his opponent on a set of kings.

Di Nicola had around 140,000 behind and folded the AQJ10 eventually.Yankov flashed the A first followed by the 5.
