Eldabach's Calls for Double-Up Granted
Dorel Eldabach opened to 1,800 from the button, and Levani Rozomashvili responded with a three-bet to 5,700 from the big blind.
Eldabach smiled, reached for chips, and produced a four-bet to 9,000. "He's raising while smiling", laughed Samuel Albeck.
Matters took a more serious turn when Rozomashvili turned up the heat further with a five-bet to 27,300. "That's what I like to see, double-up incoming", said Eldabach, as he made the call, and pulled his hoody right up over his face.
"Double-up, double-up", Eldabach quietly repeated to himself, as the flop came 7♦4♦2♥.
Eldabach quipped "Small tourney, SPR less than one, pot is the only bet", and Rozomashvili duly responded with a bet of 55,400. Eldabach moved all-in for 55,700, and Rozomashvili called.
"Aces and what?", asked Eldabach.
Dorel Eldabach: Q♦9♦K♣7♣
Levani Rozomashvili: A♠A♣K♦10♠
Eldabach was correct that he was up against aces, and he had the perfect hand to crack them with top pair and the flush draw.
The 7♠ turn put Eldabach in front with trip sevens, and the 9♠ river completed the board.
