Score Draw for Pansier and Casagrande
Harald Casagrande opened to 4,000 under the gun and was met with a three-bet to 14,400 from Nino Pansier in the cutoff.
Action folded back to Casagrande, who remarked with a smile, "This guy, he was on 300,000 after four hands. I've never seen anything like it. How much do you have?"
"Around 250,000. I gave some back," quipped Pansier.
Casagrande made the call to see a flop of 9♠8♦6♦, and he took the initiative by leading out with a bet of 25,000. Pansier made a quick fold.
In the next hand, Pansier raised Casagrande's big blind to 5,600, and Casagrande defended.
The flop came Q♠9♦7♠, and Casagrande check-called in the face of a bet of 8,000 from Pansier.
The 7♦ hit on the turn, pairing the board, and the same pattern followed, this time in respect of a bet of 14,000 from Pansier.
The 6♥ river completed the board, and Casagrande took quite a while before checking. Pansier took about a minute before firing out a bet of 45,000, and Casagrande decided he could not withstand that heat after a short period in the tank.
