Javier Francort Eliminated in 14th Place (€18,600)
Level 17
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Javier Francort three-bet to 120,000 from the cutoff and was called by Robert Cowen in early position, which led them to the 6♦5♠3♦ flop. The action was checked to Francort, and he bet the pot for 280,000 with very few chips behind. Cowen raised, and Francort called all in.
Javier Francort: A♦Q♥J♠7♦
Robert Cowen: 10♣9♠8♦7♣
The nut flush draw clashed with a straight draw, and the K♣ on the turn changed nothing. However, the 9♣ fell on the river, completing Cowen's straight, and Francort became the first player to bust in the money.
