Kabrhel Forces Cowen to Fold Set

Richard Hayes

Level 18 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel limped the small blind with A♣Q♥J♥10♠, and Robert Cowen raised to 90,000 from the big blind with 8♠8♣5♣2♥.

Kabrhel called to see the K♦8♥6♣ flop, which was checked through to the 9♠ turn.

Kabrhel led out with a pot-sized bet of 240,000, and Cowen called. The A♦ hit on the river, and Kabrhel fired out a bet of 380,000.

Cowen went into the tank, but ultimately folded his set of eights.
