Saveikis Plays His Jacks Slowly

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Heinz Traut argued after one hand that the A was marked, although the other players at the table said they didn't see anything. The argument went on for a few minutes until tournament officials finally agreed to switch out the decks.

Jose Puertas then shoved for 1,200,000 on the button and Algirdas Saveikis folded in the big blind, showing the A. Puertas reciprocated by flashing the A.

Matteo Intiso then shoved from the small blind and Heinz Traut, with around 1,000,000 remaining, folded.

The next hand, Saveikis opened to 240,000 in the cutoff and Catalin Diac called in the big blind.

Both players checked the 976 flop. Diac then led out for 300,000 on the 4 turn, and Saveikis called.

The 6 river was also checked down, and Diac showed 87. Saveikis turned over JJ and took the pot.
