Jose Scarano: AA All in
Enrico Campanile: 88

Christian Schneider

Darius Neagoe shoved from the small blind and Ian Kostenko called for 230,000 in the big blind.

Ian Kostenko: QJ All in
Darius Neagoe: 33

Kostenko hit top pair on the Q65 flop, and the board ran out KA to earn him a double up.

At another table, Elia Salerno raised to 80,000 under the gun, Christian Schneider moved all in for 645,000 in early position, and Salerno called.

Christian Schneider: AJ All in
Elia Salerno: A3

Schneider had Salerno dominated as the flop came K98, while the J turn gave Schneider a pair and left Salerno drawing dead. The river was the K and Schneider doubled up.

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Eloy Castro
Eloy Castro

Matjaz Vogrinec raised from under the gun and Eloy Dominguez pushed a shorter stack of around 475,000 out of the small blind. Mario Scalia gave it some consideration and folded while Vogrinec instantly called.

Eloy Dominguez: KQ All in
Matjaz Vogrinec: 1010

The pocket pair of Vogrinec had the lead and retained it throughout the 652JA board, while Scalia was somewhat annoyed.

"I folded jack-nine in hearts," he told Konstantinos Nanos in German.

Salerno Raises Big on the River

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Elia Salerno
Elia Salerno

Elia Salerno and Enrico Campanile went heads-up to a flop of 1053 when Campanile bet 100,000 from the hijack. Salerno called in the small blind.

Both players checked the 6 turn. Campanile then bet 345,000 on the Q river, but this time Salerno came back with a raise to 1,070,000.

Campanile burned through three time banks until calling, and Salerno showed 65 for two pair to win the pot.

The pace at this table has been so slow that tournament officials have had to stop the action at the other two tables twice this level to allow this table to catch up.

Enrico Campanile Eliminated in 22nd Place (€3,340)

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Enrico Campanile
Enrico Campanile

Enrico Campanile had opened from middle position before Rene Schnitzler moved all in from the big blind. Campanile snap-called for his last 600,000.

Enrico Campanile: QQ All in
Rene Schnitzler: AK

It was a classic flip, and Schnitzler took the lead on the K39 flop with top pair. He improved to trips on the K turn, and the river came the 2 to send Campanile to the rail.

Schnitzler went for another knockout the next hand as Jaime Lebre moved all in for 660,000 on the button and Schnitzler called in the small blind.

Jaime Lebre: KQ All in
Rene Schnitzler: A10

It was Lebre who hit the flop this time, making a pair on K94 to take the lead. The rest of the board came 7J and Lebre doubled up.

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Corey Hochman
Corey Hochman

Corey Hochman moved all in for 270,000 under the gun and Darius Neagoe called in the hijack, as did Yehonatan Behor in the big blind.

The flop came JJK and Neagoe bet 100,000. Behor then raised to 165,000, Neagoe reraised to 325,000, Behor shoved, and Neagoe snap-called.

Corey Hochman: Q3 All in
Yehonatan Behor: QJ All in
Darius Neagoe: AJ

Both Behor and Neagoe had flopped trip jacks, but Neagoe was ahead with his ace-kicker and poised for the double knockout as the turn came the 8. The 8 on the river, however, gave Neagoe and Behor both jacks-full, and they chopped up Hochman's bounty.

Ian Kostenko jammed from the hijack for 590,000, and Scott Reynolds rejammed from the cutoff, forcing out all other players.

Ian Kostenko: A8 All in
Scott Reynolds: 88

Kostenko was in trouble with a single overcard, and looked to be heading for the exits after the 654 flop and 5 turn, but he drilled the A river to stay in it.

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Mauricio Salazar Sanchez
Mauricio Salazar Sanchez

Mauricio Salazar Sanchez raised the button to 100,000 and Georgios Tsouloftas three-bet to 300,000 one seat over in the small blind. It folded back to the Colombian and he four-bet jammed for 735,000 for Tsouloftas to call.

Mauricio Salazar Sanchez: AK All in
Georgios Tsouloftas: 1010

It was a classic flip for the tournament life of Salazar Sanchez and he failed to improve on the 54454 board to bow out in 19th place for €3,340. After heading to the payout desk, he redeemed his two bounty chances and earned another €500 each.
