Neagoe Bluff-Catches

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Darius Neagoe
Darius Neagoe

Around 300,000 was in the middle on a flop of AQ5, in a hand between Ridvan Sare in middle position, and Darius Neagoe in the big blind.

Neagoe check-called in the face of a bet of 100,000, to see the 9 turn.

The same pattern followed, this time in respect of a bet of 150,000 from Sare.

The A river completed the board, and Neagoe quickly check-called in the face of a triple-barrel of 250,000 from Sare.

Sare tabled K10 for the missed straight draw and turned flush draw, and Neagoe was good with A10 for trip aces.

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Konstantinos Nanos

Georgios Tsouloftas raised to 120,000 under the gun, and Antonio Fragale called in the hijack.

Tsouloftas continued for 80,000 on the 955 flop and Fragale called. Both players then checked the Q turn.

Tsouloftas bet 300,000 on the A river, and Fragale snap-called. Tsouloftas showed AJ for two pair, but Fragale had A9 for aces and nines to win the pot.

The next hand at this table, Konstantinos Nanos raised to 150,000 in the hijack and was called by Matjaz Vogrinec and Tsouloftas in the blinds.

The flop came 952 and Nanos bet 275,000. Vogrinec then raised to 650,000, and Tsouloftas folded, but Nanos moved all in for 1,300,000. Vogrinec quickly called.

Konstantinos Nanos: JJ All in
Matjaz Vogrinec: 97

Nanos was ahead with his two jacks against Vogrinec's top pair, but Vogrinec hit the 7 on the turn to make two pair as Nanos smashed the table with his fist in frustration.

The river, though, was the 4 to give Nanos a flush, and he calmly took in the double-up.

After taking that hit versus Georgios Tsouloftas, Matjaz Vogrinec jammed from the cutoff for 700,000, and Konstantinos Nanos took a single peek at his cards in the big blind before immediately putting in calling chips.

Konstantinos Nanos: KQ

Vogrinec was crushed, but he flopped well enough on J92. picking up a gutshot and backdoor flush draw.

It's the hope that kills you, though, and he bricked the 6 turn and 9 river, to bring us down to two tables.
