Another River Card for Hissou
Level 8
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alessio La Francesca completed his small blind, and Sirzat Hissou opted to check in the big.
They both checked through the 5♦8♣2♣ to the 2♠ on the turn. La Francesca bet 20,000, and Hissou called again.
The river completed the board with the 9♠. La Francesca bet 40,000 for Hissou to call. La Francesca tabled the Q♦8♦ for the flopped pair of eights. Hissou showed the 9♦6♥ for the rivered pair of nines to complement the deuces on the board, forming the higher two pair and the pot.
