Phan Hurts Eychenne, Angelou Konstas Finishes the Job

Level 14 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Thomas Eychenne
Thomas Eychenne

Thomas Eychenne lost back-to-back pots, which resulted in his departure from the tournament.

First, Hoang Hiep Phan shoved the small blind for 250,000 and Eychenne called in the big blind.

Hoang Hiep Phan: J10 All in
Thomas Eychenne: K6

Eychenne had made the correct call, but he wasn't rewarded as the Q8J flop gave Phan a pair of jacks. A 9 turn improved him to a straight, and Eychenne coughed up the chips when the 4 hit the river.

In the very next hand, Ioannis Angelou Konstas raised to 50,000 from the hijack and Phan called on the button. Eychenne then shoved the small blind for 175,000, before Angelou Konstas made a chunky raised. Phan folded.

Thomas Eychenne: 88 All in
Ioannis Angelou Konstas: J9

Eychenne was in a flip, and fell behind on the 6J10 flop as Angelou Konstas paired his jack. A 45 runout changed nothing, and Eychenne was again sent to the rail.
