Dijkstra Gets There on River in Five-Bet Pot
Uri Reichenstein opened to 1,000 from the early position, and was met with a three-bet to 4,000 from Jan Dijkstra in the cutoff. Mihai Hanu cold-called in the big blind, before Reichenstein produced a four-bet to 15,000.
Dijkstra thought it through, and five-bet to 27,000. Hanu sighed and got out of the way, and after a good bit of thought, Reichenstein called.
On the Q♦10♥5♥ flop, Reichenstein check-called versus a bet of 7,500 from Dijkstra.
The 9♠ turn was quickly checked to the J♣ river, where Reichenstein checked once more. Dijkstra slid out a bet of 30,000, and Reichenstein put his hands in the air to signal he didn't have much choice but to call, but didn't like it.
Djikstra tabled A♦K♠ for the rivered nut straight, and that didn't appear to be news to Reichenstein, as he nodded, sighed, and tabled K♣K♦.
