Gicovanu Three-Bets Hu Light
Level 5
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Lulei Hu opened from early position to 1,700, and Marius Gicovanu three-bet the button to 6,000. Once the blinds passed, Hu called.
Despite the preflop action, it checked all the way to the river on the 8♦9♥9♣5♥K♦ board, where Hu checked and Gicovanu bet 3,000. Hu reluctantly tossed in a chip to signify a call.
Gicovanu then showed he rivered a pair of kings holding K♥4♥, and Hu mucked his cards.
