Peixoto Chips Up Before the Break

Level 1 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Four players limped in and Rutger Hennen in the big blind bumped it up to 2,800. Devin Dayan then called and Corey Hochman reraised to 9,700, which earned the pot without any further resistance. There were 20 seconds left on the clock and they played one more hand thereafter.

That one proved to be expensive for El Mostafa Bel Khayate on the button as he tangled with Carlos Peixoto. The latter bet out of turn on the K10108 turn and his bet stood for 10,000 when Bel Khayate had checked. They checked the 6 on the river and Bel Khayata tabled the A7 for the missed ace-high flush draw, awarding the pot to Peixoto with the J10 for trips tens.
