Savino Flops Two Pair to Crush Zisimopoulos' Kings
Georgios Zisimopoulos opened the hijack to 13,000 and Florian Thumm called on the button. Iago Savino also came along from the big blind.
They saw a flop of J♣4♥6♥ and when it got to Zisimopoulos, he made a continuation-bet of 21,000. Thumm called, then Savino pumped it up to 60,000. Zisimopoulos three-bet the flop to 105,000, which got Thumm to quickly fold.
Savino wasted no time in moving all in, and with around 110,000 behind, Zisimopoulos made the call for his tournament life.
Georgios Zisimopoulos: K♠K♥
Iago Savino: 6♣4♣
The disappointment was evident in Zisimopoulos' body language as he was behind to two pair, but there was still a runout to sweat where he could catch up. Unfortunately for him, there would be no catching up as the Q♠7♣ runout meant his kings were no good.
