Pazma Makes the Right Call After Long Tank
Alessandro Pichierri made it 12,000 to go from middle position with Lukas Pazma calling from the cutoff and Aleksei Vandyshev calling on the button. Shay Rozenbaum squeuezed it up to 65,000 from the small blind, and only Pazma called to see a flop.
As soon as the dealer fanned out the 7♥J♦4♦ flop, Rozenbaum overbet jammed for 347,000. Pazma, went deep into the tank for roughly five minutes. In the end. Pazma slammed in the call for almost half of his stack.
Shay Rozenbaum: A♣K♥
Lukas Pazma: K♣J♣
Pazma had come to the right decision with top pair, as Rozenbaum just had ace-high and was drawing thin.
The 10♣ on the turn offered Rozenbaum with a straight draw, but the 2♠ river was brick. Rozenbaum hit the rail, and Pazma's stack grew to around 1,300,000.
