Pidun Chips Up Without Showdown
Level 23
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Ran Ilani had recently lost quite a few chips and then stole the blinds, flashing the A♣A♠ from under the gun. One hand later, he was in the big blind and Jan-Willem Nijmeijer opened to 100,000. Daniel Pidun in the small blind called and Ilani came along to the 6♣6♠5♠ flop that they checked to the initial raiser.
Nijmeijer bet 200,000 and Pidun was the only caller. Both then checked the 5♦ on the turn before Pidun let his thirty second countdown almost hit zero before he declared a bet and moved his entire stack of T-100,000 chips forward. The bet was for 1,300,000 and Nijmeijer folded, sighing.
