Neugebauer Faces Resistance

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Max Neugebauer opened to 250,000 on the button and Daniel Pidun in the small blind three-bet to 750,000, forcing out Catalin Pop and Neugebauer.

One hand later, Teemu Jaatinen made it 240,000 to go and Neugebauer three-bet to 540,000 in the cutoff. Jaatinen flat-called and the AK4 flop saw the Finn check first to act. Once Neugebauer bet 300,000, Jaatinen check-raised to 700,000 and Neugebauer tossed in calling chips after brief consideration.

The Q followed on the turn and Jaatinen double-checked his cards with sixteen seconds left on the shot clock. His first time bank expired and the dealer grabbed towards the time bank cards to spread them, confusing Jaatinen for a split second. Within the next allocated 30 seconds, Jaatinen bet 950,000 and Neugebauer folded.
