Daniel Pidun then made it 600,000 to go with the 8♠8♥ and Claudio Di Giacomo defended his big blind with the K♣8♣. The Q♠J♠3♦ flop was checked to the 5♥ turn. Di Giacomo checked again and Pidun knuckled the felt as the 9♠ river rolled off. They checked once more and Pidun won the pot.
