Aggression Widens the Gap for Karlic
Level 32
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Daniel Pidun limped the button with the 7♥5♦ and Gerald Karlic raised to 2,000,000 with the K♣9♦ to claim the pot.
Karlic's next button-raise to 1,000,000 came with the J♠2♦, and Pidun defended the K♣3♦. The 6♠4♠3♠ flop was checked by both to see the 10♦ on the turn for free. Pidun bet 800,000, and Karlic cut out a raise to 2,800,000 with his jack-high flush draw, which got rid of Pidun.
