Pidun then opened to 1,100,000 with the 10♦2♦, and Karlic three-bet the 6♠2♠ to 3,500,000. This time, Pidun stuck around to see the Q♥10♣8♦ flop on which he hit middle pair. Both players checked and did again on the 9♣ turn, which led them to the 4♥ river. Karlic bet 2,500,000, and Pidun called to claim the pot, pulling ahead by some margin.
