Pidun Widens the Gap Over Karlic

Level 33 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Daniel Pidun made it 1,100,000 to go with the A9 and Gerald Karlic called with the J10 to flop best on KJ7. Karlic checked to Pidun, who continued for 1,250,000. The Austrian then opted to flat-call and Pidun hit the A on the turn.

Karlic checked once more with his now third pair and Pidun made it 3,500,000 to go, the reluctant call followed. On the 4 river, both players checked and Pidun won the pot to claim a lead of more than two to one.
