Miegel Amazed by Bel Khayate's Fold

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Jakob Miegel
Jakob Miegel

Jakob Miegel limped from the small blind, and El Mostafa Bel Khayate raised to 21,000 from the big blind. Miegel responded with a jam for around 130,000, and Bel Khayate went into the tank.

After around two minutes, with Miegel smiling at him the whole time, Bel Khayate open-folded AK.

Miegel was astounded, and tabled QQ, asking his opponent, "How do you fold?!"

Bel Khayate indicated it was too early for him to want to flip for his stack.

Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

It hasn't taken long for Martin Kabrhel to get in on the action.

Martin Berge opened to 2,000 from the button, and Kabrhel responded with a three-bet to 11,000 from the big blind. Berge didn't take long before four-bet jamming for around 66,600, and didn't look pleased when Kabrhel snapped.

Martin Berge: K10 All in
Martin Kabrhel: AK

Kabrhel had Berge crushed, and Berge was dead by the turn on the A556A runout, Kabrhel finishing with a full house.

Wang Puts Melchers in Blender

Level 6 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Yuhan Wang
Yuhan Wang

A pot of 72,000 had developed by the river on a board of 642K4, in a hand between Dorian Melchers and Yuhan Wang, both in middle position.

Melchers checked, and Wang fired out a bet of 150,000, more than covering Melchers' remaining stack of 52,500.

Melchers went into the tank, taking at least three minutes eyeing the board and his opponent, the focus of his attention appearing to be Wang's neck, trying to get some kind of pulse indication as to whether Wang was bluffing.

Wang didn't move an inch throughout. Eventually, Melchers took a final peek at his cards and folded.

Kabrhel Bluffs It Off to Gomez Casillas

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Jose Casillas
Jose Casillas

Martin Kabrhel raised to 2,400 in the hijack before Jose Gomez Casillas three-bet to 19,000 in the small blind. Kabrhel called and they saw a flop of Q102.

Gomez Casillas then bet 17,000 and Kabrhel called. The turn was the 5 and Gomez Casillas bet 76,100. Kabrhel then moved all in for 126,000, and Gomez Casillas snap-called.

Gomez Casillas showed QQ for top set, and Kabrhel could only show K5 for a bluff. Kabrhel had already gathered up his things and left the table before the 9 fell on the river.

"Martin, you should wait for the river," Gomez Casillas, who had been involved in a few contentious encounters with Kabrhel today, called out to him.

Elia Salerno
Elia Salerno

Patrick White opened to 2,500 from middle position, and received a call from Elia Salerno in the small blind before Noah Sari three-bet jammed from the big blind for around 24,000. Both White and Salerno made the call.

Noah Sari: 99 All in
Elia Salerno: JJ All in
Patrick White: QJ

White was ahead with top pair queens, but brutally, the J appeared on the turn to give Salerno a set. The 3 hit on the river, and Salerno celebrated with gusto.

Sari was busted, and White was left in the red zone.

Schneider Gets Goeller

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Christian Schneider
Christian Schneider

There was an open from early position, and Christian Schneider called in the cutoff, before Andreas Goeller three-bet jammed for 30,200 from the button. The opener folded, but Schneider called after some thought.

Andreas Goeller: 86 All in
Christian Schneider: KQ

Goeller needed some help, and picked up an open-ended straight draw on the 977 flop.

Schneider found a queen on the Q turn to solidify his position, and the 8 river was not enough for Goeller to stay in it.

Schumacher Runs Over Birgaoanu

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Tomislav Topcic opened to 2,500 from early position, and was met with a three-bet to 10,000 from Yannick Schumacher in middle position.

Max Neugebauer was in the next seat, and he cold four-bet to 25,000. Andrei Birgaoanu was in the small blind, and when action reached him, he contemplated the position for a moment before five-bet jamming for 62,800.

Topcic quickly folded, and Schumacher asked for a count. On being informed of the amount, Schumacher rejammed, forcing out Neugebauer.

Andrei Birgaoanu: QQ All in
Yannick Schumacher: KK

In a cooler, Birgaoanu had run queens into kings, and there was no unlikely escape on the A4458 runout.
