Marcello Miniucchi

Andras Halasi was in the cutoff with a raise of 27,000 in front of him before Marcello Miniucchi moved all in for 225,000 on the button. Halasi tanked for a few minutes, but he eventually called to put Miniucchi at risk.

"Wow, big call," tablemate Michael Adam said.

Marcello Miniucchi: AQ All in
Andras Halasi: 99

Miniucchi was flipping for his tournament life, and he found an ace on the AK6 flop to take the lead. Halasi buried his head in his hands as the board ran out 54, forcing him to hand over the double.

Ratmir Kesidis
Ratmir Kesidis

Ratmir Kesidis and Leon Veehof built a pot of more than 200,000 as they went heads-up to a flop of QJ7. Veehof then moved all in from the hijack, and Kesidis called for 236,000 in the small blind.

Ratmir Kesidis: QQ All in
Leon Veehof: KK

Veehof showed two kings, but Kesidis had flopped top set with his queens. The board ran out 8A and Kesidis earned the massive double up while his rail erupted in celebration.

"Vamos!" he shouted as he shot out of his seat and exchanged a round of high-fives with his supporters.

Krnac Takes Out Zizka, Flak Gets Away

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Zdenek Zizka
Zdenek Zizka

Three players saw a flop of QJ10 when Zdenek Zizka moved all in for 135,000 in the hijack. Jan Krnac then reshoved for 260,000 in the small blind as action went on Grzegorz Flak in the big blind. Flak tanked for several minutes, all the while as Krnac laughed it up with Martin Kabrhel sitting at an adjacent table.

"Gamble, gamble," Kabrhel said to him.

Flak eventually folded, later saying he had 97.

Zdenek Zizka: J10 All in
Jan Krnac: QJ

Both players had flopped two pair, but Krnac was ahead with his queens and jacks. The board ran out 8K and Zizka was sent to the rail.

Csata's Survival Trick Works For Him

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Marcell Csata
Marcell Csata

Marcell Csata got his stack of 81,000 into the middle preflop with Marek Tomes the player trying to send him home.

Marcell Csata: 99 All in
Marek Tomes: A6

Before Csata saw Tomes' suited ace, he got out of his chair, took a swig of his large canned beverage, and refused to look at his opponent's cards or the runout, citing, "It brings me good luck."

Still, Csata didn't see that Tomes picked up some extra outs on the 1068 flop by pairing his six. However, the rest of the board came Q4, and Csata doubled up.

It was only after he had dragged in his newly acquired chips that Csata asked his neighbors what hand he had been up against.

Queens Hold for Koleckar

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jakub Koleckar
Jakub Koleckar

Peter Cieslik opened under the gun to 16,000, and was met with a three-bet jam to 130,000 from Jakub Koleckar from middle position.

Dan Sfarlea was on the button, and he moved his 75,000 stack into the middle. Cieslik took a bit of time to think, but made the call, to create a three-way all-in scenario.

Dan Sfarlea: 1010 All in
Jakub Koleckar: QQ All in
Peter Cieslik: JJ

It was a tale of three pairs, and Koleckar had the best of it. His queens held across the A629K runout, busting Sfarlea, and damaging Cieslik.

Domination Rotation for Nicholls to Double

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Kai Nicholls
Kai Nicholls

Georgios Zisimopoulos opened to 13,000 from early position, and received a call from Iago Savino on the button, before Kai Nicholls three-bet jammed from the big blind for 76,000.

Zisimopoulos folded but Savino made the call.

Kai Nicholls: KJ All in
Iago Savino: 76

Nicholls was ahead, but he was up out of his chair after the A77 flop gave Savino trip sevens.

The 3 gave Nicholls some hope with a flush draw, and he binked the Q river to overtake Savino.

Nicholls didn't realize he was still in it, having assumed he was done following the flop, and Savino had to tell him he had won. Nicholls was understandably delighted his eyes were playing tricks on him, and he retook his seat at the table.

Radicchi Can't Hit the River on Banic This Time

Level 13 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Ivan Banic
Ivan Banic

Andrea Radicchi and Ivan Banic had built a pot of around 120,000 as they went to the turn with the board showing 5KQ3. Banic then moved all in from the small blind, and Radicchi called in the cutoff.

Banic showed AK for top pair, while Radicchi was on flush and straight draws with A10. The river was the 10 and Banic held on to win the pot.

The stacks were counted down and Radicchi barely had Banic's 138,000 covered, leaving himself nursing a short stack.
