Barzantny Gets All of Zarbo's Stack

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Giuseppe Zarbo
Giuseppe Zarbo

Giuseppe Zarbo had just retaken his seat after the dinner break ended, but was up on his feet pretty quickly as he fell to Wojciech Barzantny.

The action was missed, but the chips appeared to go in preflop, with Zarbo at risk for around 100,000.

Giuseppe Zarbo: AQ All in
Wojciech Barzantny: AK

Zarbo was in trouble, but found some help on the QJ9 flop as he made top pair. Nobody has a diamond, which meant there was a flush draw on board when the 3 hit the turn. Barzantny probably was hoping for a chop, but instead he took the lot as the 10 river gave him Broadway, ending Zarbo's Main Event.

Speranzoni Bets Every Street

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Alberto Speranzoni
Alberto Speranzoni

Alberto Speranzoni raised from the button and Boris Kuzmanovic defended the big blind.

Kuzmanovic check-called a bet of 16,000 by Speranzoni on the 1064 flop.

The 2 hit the turn and Kuzmanovic check-called another bet from Speranzoni, this time for 42,000.

Kuzmanovic checked for the last time on the J river and Speranzoni fired out 116,000. Kuzmanovic took almost two minutes before deciding to fold his cards and surrender the pot to Speranzoni.

Kabrhel Causes Instant Carnage

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel registered after dinner break and immediately caused havoc at his table.

In his first hand, Kabrhel opened to 9,000 from early position, and received calls from Nikolas Wicquart in the next seat and Marco Meisser in the big blind, Kabrhel goading them about not acting fast enough preflop.

On the KJ5 flop, action was checked to Kabrhel, who fired out a bet of 20,000, which only Wicquart called.

The 4 hit on the turn, and Kabrhel took quite a bit of time for thought before sliding out a double-barrel of 46,000. Wicquart had only been thinking it through for about 90 seconds, at least as long as Kabrhel took before betting, before Kabrhel called the clock.

The floor came over, and while they didn't immediately enforce the clock, Wicquart folded shortly after.

In the next hand, Kabrhel opened to 9,000 under the gun, and Dinesh Alt three-bet jammed from the big blind for around 65,000, receiving a snap-call from the Czech.

Dinesh Alt: A10 All in
Martin Kabrhel: QJ

Alt was ahead, but Kabrhel flopped the joint on K109, and Alt was up out of his chair, the 4 turn and Q river confirming his fate.

"Easy game," said Kabrhel, and on not getting much back from the table, continued, "Crazy jam this ace-ten, with no fold equity versus under the gun, very weak table."

You could feel the discomfort levels at the table rising considerably, and get the impression most of his table would rather be anywhere else on the planet right now.

Cheng Zhao opened to 8,000 from middle position, before Max Neugebauer three-bet jammed for 42,000 from the next seat. Adrian Cazacu cold-called in the cutoff, and Zhao got out of the way.

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Darius Neagoe
Darius Neagoe

Lukas Pazma opened the button to 9,000 and Darius Neagoe three-bet from the small blind. Pazma then moved all in, and Neagoe called off his stack of 101,000.

Darius Neagoe: QQ All in
Lukas Pazma: AJ

Neagoe had the best of it with a pair of queens, and had one less out to worry about on the 942 flop as he picked up a flush draw. Nothing changed on the 64 runout, and Neagoe doubled up.

Rene Knapp

Rene Knapp opened to 8,000 and received a call from Corey Hochman, both in middle position, before Alexander Metz three-bet jammed for 53,000 from the button.

Knapp called, and Hochman bowed out.

Metz had run big slick into cowboys, and although he turned a gutshot, he bricked the 10103J4 runout.

Flopped Straight for Timarac

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Dragoslav Timarac
Dragoslav Timarac

With a pot of 22,000 accrued, on a flop of 642, Dragoslav Timarac had ended up all-in for 100,000 from the small blind and at risk against Nikolas Wicquart under the gun.

Dragoslav Timarac: 53 All in
Nikolas Wicquart: 1010

Timarac had flopped the nut straight against Wicquart's overpair, and the 6 turn and 4 river confirmed Timarac's double-up.

"What's it like to play five-three and flop the nuts? I don't know this feeling, maybe I'm too tight," commented Martin Kabrhel.

Muzacz Puts Jaros in a Tough Spot

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Patrik Jaros
Patrik Jaros

Patrik Jaros opened to 9,000 in early position, and Bastian Gallitzendoerfer called in the small blind. Bartlomiej Muzacz then squeezed to 42,000 from the big blind, which both Jaros and Gallitzendoerfer called.

On the K72 flop, Gallitzendoerfer checked and Muzacz bet 55,000. Jaros called, and Gallitzendoerfer let his hand go. When the 2 fell on the turn, they both checked.

The A fell on the river, and Muzacz took some time before he threw out 225,000, more than Jaros had behind. Jaros reacted immediately and didn't seem impressed with the situation that he found himself in, and some agonizing moments later, he laid down his hand and flashed the A as he did so.

Kabrhel Entrances Franz

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

A pot of 62,000 had developed by the turn on a board of JJ45, in a hand between Martin Kabrhel under the gun, and Johannes Franz in middle position.

Throughout the entirety of this hand, Franz was rocking back and forth in his seat, one hand riffling chips, staring at Kabrhel, almost as if in a trance.

Franz took around forty seconds to check back the turn, body rocking the whole time, as the 2 hit on the river.

Kabrhel took around 30 seconds before firing out a bet of 36,000, and Franz, after around another 90 seconds of body movements, sent his hand to the muck, tapping the table. He asked Kabrhel to show one, but the Czech would not oblige him.

Jungevicius Performs Unbelievable Escape Act to Finish Fiala

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Kestutis Jungevicius
Kestutis Jungevicius

A pot of at least 100,000 was in the middle, on a flop of 722, in a hand between Simon Fiala in middle position, Aleksandr Zubov in the cutoff, and Kestutis Jungevicius on the button.

Fiala checked, and Zubov fired out a bet of 25,000. Jungevicius raised to 55,000, before Fiala check-jammed to 102,000.

Zubov got out of the way, but Jungevicius called.

Simon Fiala: 77 All in
Kestutis Jungevicius: JJ

Fiala had flopped the full house, and Jungevicius was down to two outs.

Unbelievably, it was instant service as the J hit on the turn to put Jungevicius ahead, and there was no miracle one-outer on the K river. A brutal beat for Fiala.
