The K♣Q♠5♥ flop was checked through to the 6♥ turn, where Nacer led out with a bet of 17,500 when Pop checked. Majtyka and Saliba both called to see the 5♣ river.

Nacer fired again with a bet of 35,000, which only Majtyka called.

Nacer tabled A♥2♥ for the missed flush draw, and Majtyka took the pot with K♦J♣ for top pair kings.

Lorenzo Arduini raised to 5,500 under the gun with Samuel Bifarella calling from middle position. Fabio Giamberardini squeezed to 18,500 in the big blind, and both of his opponents called.

Giamberardini put out a continuation-bet of 30,000 on the 4♣10♦K♠ flop, and only Arduini stuck around with a call.

Check, check followed the 7♠ turn for the A♠ to roll off on the river. Giamberardini checked before Arduini bet 118,000, leaving just 500 behind. Giamberardini called and was shown a straight by Arduini with Q♣J♣. Giamberardini revealed A♣Q♠ as the majority of his stack was sent over to Arduini.

Zhao jammed the 3♣ river for 130,000, and Pilhofer quickly folded.

A pot of 96,000 had developed by the turn, on a board of K♠9♣6♥6♦, in a hand between Adrian Cazacu and Adrian State, both in early position.

Cazacu check-called a bet of 35,000 to see the 2♦ river.

Cazacu checked once more, and was pained when State fired out a bet of 75,000.

Cazacu went into the tank, counting out his remaining stack of around 215,000 on at least six separate occasions as he pondered the spot.

Ultimately, he open-folded A♠K♦ for top pair kings. State gave no indication as to whether it was a good fold, and Cazacu was left to stew on the hand.

Pegolotti Cracks Aces to Bust Krahula

Pegolotti jammed for around 135,000 with the covering stack, and Krahula, with around 70,000 behind, went into the tank.

After around 90 seconds, Krahula called. Pegolotti flipped over J♣J♠ for the full house, and Krahula was off from the table, the dealer flipping his cards to show A♠A♦.

Nanos Nullifies Matei

Nicusor Matei opened to 4,500 from under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 13,000 from Konstantinos Nanos on the button.

Action folded back to Matei, who four-bet jammed for his 56,500 total stack. Nanos asked for a count and called.

Matei was in good shape with cowboys versus a single overcard, and he was still ahead after the Q♣4♦2♠ flop, although Nanos picked up top pair.

The 5♠ turn spelt danger, giving Nanos a flush draw, and the 7♠ hit on the river to send Matei to the rail.

Matei slammed the table in disgust at his misfortune, and beat a hasty retreat from the tournament area.

At another table, Sirzat Hissou had moved all in for 40,000 from the button and Vito Branciforte called in the big blind.

Vladas Tamasauskas opened to 4,000 under the gun, and received calls from Roland Haddad in the cutoff, and Petru Tarlev in the big blind.

On the K♦6♣3♦ flop, action was checked to Tamasauskas, who fired out a bet of 4,500. Haddad responded with a raise to 9,000, and Tarlev cold-called.

Tamasauskas wasn't finished there, and three-bet to 34,000.

After some thought Haddad folded, but Tarlev back-jammed for 130,000 with the covering stack. Tamasauskas quickly got his 92,000 total stack into the middle.

It was flush draw versus flush draw and gutshot, and Tamasauskas was in great shape.

The J♥ turn was a great card for Tamasauskas, giving him the security of a pair, and Tarlev was now drawing to a non-diamond four. It did not arrive on the Q♥ river.
