Pidun Sniffs Out Gallitzendoerfer's Bluff

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Daniel Pidun
Daniel Pidun

Catalin Pop raised under the gun to 120,000 and Daniel Pidun called from middle position. Bastian Gallitzendoerfer squeezed to 320,000 from the button, and only Pidun called.

Pidun check-called a bet of 320,000 by Gallitzendoerfer on the 8510 flop.

The 3 turn checked through to see the 7 complete the board. Pidun checked for the last time, and Gallitzendoerfer fired out 700,000. Pidun used up a few of his time banks before elexting to make the call.

Gallitzendoerfer showed an airball with A2, and lost the pot to Pidun's K10 for a pair of tens.

Ashelm Leaves Tikhov on Fumes

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Robert Ashelm
Robert Ashelm

Ivan Tikhov moved all in for 855,000 on the button and Robert Ashelm called in the small blind.

Robert Ashelm: AK All in
Ivan Tikhov: 108

Ashelm hit top pair on the A92 flop, while Tikhov picked up a flush draw on the 9 turn. The Q came on the river and Ashelm held on to earn the pot.

The stacks had to be counted down and Tikhov had Ashelm covered by just 20,000. Marco Di Persio then asked that the dealer count again, and the pot was reconstructed as the dealer confirmed the amount before handing the chips over to Ashelm.

Jan-Willem Nijmeijer Eliminated in 24th Place (€35,600)

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jan-Willem Nijmeijer
Jan-Willem Nijmeijer

After losing all but the last 20,000 in chips right before that, Ivan Tikhov used all of his remaining time banks and then folded. Catalin Pop limped the small blind, and Max Neugebauer checked in the big blind. On the 984 flop, both checked and Neugebauer bet the 3 turn for 120,000 for Pop to check-fold.

Bastian Gallitzendoerfer won the next blinds with a raise to 150,000.

In the very next hand, Marco Di Persio raised to 120,000 first to act and Gallitzendoerfer three-bet to 500,000 in the next seat. It folded all the way to Jan-Willem Nijmeijer in the small blind, and he glanced at his cards, then grabbed all of his time bank extensions that he had left to spread them out.

Nijmeijer had nine of them and chatted with Neugebauer, who jokingly said to leave at least one behind. Nijmeijer ended up using six before he pushed all in for just shy of a million. During the hand, Daniel Pidun in the big blind wanted to leave the seat because his ordered food had arrived, but had to wait for it as the very long hand was still dragging out.

Pidun then folded, as did Di Persio, while Gallitzendoerfer called the shove.

Jan-Willem Nijmeijer: QQ All in
Bastian Gallitzendoerfer: AQ

The AJ10 flop vaulted Gallitzendoerfer into the lead, and he then further improved to trips with the A turn to leave his opponent drawing to a chop only with any of the four kings in the deck. Nothing changed with the 4 river, and Nijmeijer bowed out in 24th place for €35,600 while Tikhov on the same table secured the pay jump to €43,000 with a third of a big blind.

Ivan Tikhov Eliminated in 23rd Place (€43,000)

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Ivan Tikhov
Ivan Tikhov

Ivan Tikhov made the pay jump with the bustout of Jan-Willem Nijmeijer and immediately put in his last 20,000 from middle position. Catalin Pop called in the hijack, while Marco Di Persio checked the big blind.

Pop bet 100,000 on the K77 flop, and Di Persio folded.

Ivan Tikhov: A10 All in
Catalin Pop: AA

Pop had woken up with aces and had Tikhov drawing thin going to the turn, which was the K. The 7 fell on the river and Tikhov was eliminated in 23rd place.

Lulei Hu Eliminated in 22nd Place (€43,000)

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Lulei Hu
Lulei Hu

Lulei Hu made it 120,000 from the cutoff and Claudio Di Giacomo shoved from the big blind, covering Hu. Hu made the call for his stack of 1,180,000 and the players went to a showdown.

Lulei Hu: AK All in
Claudio Di Giacomo: 55

It was a flip with Hu having big slick against the pocket fives of Di Giacomo. The dealer delivered a flop of Q52 to give Di Giacomo a set of fives, while Hu still held outs to a flush.

Hu took the lead when the 4 rolled off on the turn, and he just needed to fade a board-pairing river to double. A 4 rolled off on the river and gave Di Giacomo a full house, eliminating Hu.

Hu headed to the rail in 22nd place and Di Giacomo was up to over six million.

Speranzoni Snaps Off Garcia to Double

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Alberto Speranzoni
Alberto Speranzoni

Action folded to Murilo Garcia who raised to 205,000 in the small blind. "I like how you play. Final table? You and me heads-up?" Martin Kabrhel said to Garcia, who flashed a thumbs up and Kabrhel ran across the table to give him a fist bump.

Alberto Speranzoni called in the big blind and they saw a flop of 922. Garcia then bet 155,000 and Speranzoni called.

Garcia bet another 290,000 on the 3 turn and Speranzoni again called. The river was the 7 and Garcia moved all in. Speranzoni snap-called for 1,000,000 and turned over Q6 for a rivered flush. Garcia threw away KK and Speranzoni doubled up.

Marco Di Persio Eliminated in 21st Place (€43,000)

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Marco Di Persio
Marco Di Persio

Max Neugebauer raised to 120,000 under the gun before Marco Di Persio three-bet to 320,000 in the hijack. Neugebauer then moved all in, and Di Persio called out to his friends on the rail before calling for 1,200,000.

Marco Di Persio: KK All in
Max Neugebauer: AK

Di Persio was ahead with his kings, but Neugebauer found an ace on the A68 flop to move in front. "Impossibile," Di Persio said in Italian.

He had just one out but couldn't find any miracles on the 2 turn or 2 river and was eliminated in 21st place.

Kobylynskyi Triple Barrel Bluffs into Lauck

Level 24 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Jonas Lauck
Jonas Lauck

Artem Kobylynskyi made it 120,000 to go from early position and Jonas Lauck defended out of the big blind.

A flop of 810K revealed itself and Lauck opted to check-call a bet of 165,000 from Kobylynskyi.

The K appeared on the turn and Lauck check-called another bet from Kobylynskyi, this time for 250,000.

Lauck checked for the last time upon seeing the 4 complete the board, and Kobylynskyi unloaded the clip, firing out a third barrel of 1,500,000. Lauck called and was shown a bluff by Kobylynskyi with J7. Lauck turned over K3 for trip kings, and the pot went over to him.

Szabolcs Kukucska
Szabolcs Kukucska

From under the gun, Szabolcs Kukucska started out with a limp before Jonas Lauck raised it to 240,000 from middle position. When it folded back to Kukucska, he limp-jammed for 1,200,000, and Lauck called.

Szabolcs Kukucska: AQ All in
Jonas Lauck: 1010

Kukucska needed to connect with the board to beat the pocket tens of Lauck and keep his seat in the Main Event.

Lauck's pair stayed ahead through the 938 flop and 6 turn. Another heart would result in a chop, but the K fell instead, and Kukucska headed to the exit in 20th position.

Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Teemu Jaatinen raised to 180,000 from the cutoff and only Martin Kabrhel called out of the small blind.

The dealer fanned out a flop of 835 and Kabrhel checked. Jaatinen bet 400,000, which Kabrhel called.

A J rolled off on the turn, causing Kabrhel to check again. Jaatinen bet 1,000,000, and Kabrhel again just called.

Both players checked the 8 river, and Kabrhel showed a flopped set of treys with 33, which boated on the river, to win the pot. Jaatinen mucked 99.
