Asaf Adato Leads Final 16 Into the WSOPE Closer Final Day
The curtain is set to fall on the 2025 World Series of Poker Europe as just 16 players return to King’s Resort for the final day of Event #15: €1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Closer. From a total of 645 entries that created an €850,000 prize pool, only one bracelet remains to be awarded, and by the end of the night a new WSOPE champion will be crowned.
Israel’s Asaf Adato leads the remaining contenders with a stack of 2,130,000, narrowly ahead of Germany’s Dennis Schaefer (2,030,000) and local player Lukas Timko (1,815,000). France’s Dorian Melchers (1,670,000) and Mariusz Klabisch (1,635,000) round out the top five, all well-positioned to make a run at the title.
