Spataru Escapes Disaster as Fedorov Spikes the Nuts on the River

Level 21 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Vikrant Mangal was already all in on a short stack as Andrei Spataru and Dmytro Fedorov went to a flop of 39Q. Spataru then bet 20,000 from the hijack, Fedorov raised to 65,000 in the small blind, and Spataru called.

The turn was the A and Fedorov moved all in for 198,000. Spataru cut out the chips to call and counted out the rest of his stack, tanking for a few minutes. Mangal eventually called the clock.

"He's all in. Are you in a rush? Then go," Spataru said to him before eventually folding.

Fedorov showed KJ, while Mangal had 95 for a pair of nines. The 10 river improved Fedorov to the nut straight and Spataru wiped his brow while Mangal was sent to the rail.
