Kesidis Fills Up on Zizka; Bendinelli Takes Out Skhirtladze

Level 22 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Giuliano Bendinelli
Giuliano Bendinelli

Zdenek Zizka raised to 100,000 under the gun and Ratmir Kesidis called in the cutoff.

Both players checked the K63 flop. Zizka then bet 150,000 on the 7 turn, and Kesidis called.

The 7 fell on the river and Zizka bet another 80,000. Kesidis then raised to 500,000 and Zizka called. Kesidis showed 66 for a full house, and Zizka mucked.

At another table, Tamazi Skhirtladze had raised to 300,000 in the cutoff, Giuliano Bendinelli shoved from the big blind, and Skhirtladze tossed in his last 15,000.

Tamazi Skhirtladze: QJ All in
Giuliano Bendinelli: K2

The A396A board didn't help Skhirtladze and Bendinelli took the pot with his king to send his opponent to the rail.

Knebel Wins a Flip

Level 22 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Karsten Knoebel opened the cutoff and Paul Knebel shoved the big blind for 625,000. After some thinking, Knoebel called.

Paul Knebel: K10 All in
Karsten Knoebel: 55

Knoebel had the bigger stack and the pair, which remained in front through the 33J flop. A Q on the turn made things a bit spicy as Knebel picked up both flush and straight draws, one of which he connected with on the 2 river to double up.

Daniel Knuth limped in from middle position before Cristian Veres moved all in for 660,000 in the hijack. Zdenek Zizka called in the cutoff, while Knuth got out of the way.

Cristian Veres: AJ All in
Zdenek Zizka: AK

Veres was dominated and needed help to survive, but none came on the Q368Q board as Zizka's king-kicker played to send Veres to the rail.

Gaona Min-Bets the River

Level 21 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Tamazi Skhirtladze opened from under the gun and Jose Gaona called from the big blind.

Gaona checked the 3KA flop and called a bet of 80,000 from Skhirtladze to see the 2 hit the turn. Again Gaona checked, and again he called a bet when Skhirtladze bet 165,000.

When the 6 landed on the river, Gaona switched up his strategy and bet the minimum - 50,000. Skhirtladze went into the tank for a while, but ultimately decided to fold with around 500,000 behind.

La Francesca Thinks Karim is a Nit

Level 21 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Alessio La Francesca raised the button to 100,000 and Aaron Duczak shoved the small blind for 845,000. Michel Karim was in the big blind thought long and hard before deciding to fold, and La Francesca called.

Aaron Duczak: A7 All in
Alessio La Francesca: A8

Duczak was just pipped, but did find a lot of chop outs on the 2210 flop. A 6 on the turn wasn't one of them, but the K river was, meaning they chopped the pot.

Karim claimed to have folded ace-ten, and reacted negatively after seeing the runout.

"You folded ace ten?" asked La Francesca. "You are a nit," he added.

Knuth Goes Polar on the River

Level 21 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Daniel Knuth opened the button to 105,000 and Zdenek Zizka called from the big blind.

The flop came QJ4 and Zizka check-called a bet of 60,000 from Knuth to the 3 turn, where again he went into check-call mode when Knuth bet 230,000.

An 8 hit the river and after Zizka checked for a third time, Knuth over-bet to an even 1,000,000. Zizka went into the tank and was contemplating for around two minutes before he finally folded. Knuth then exhaled for around five seconds before he raked in the pot. Bluff or value? Only Knuth knows.

At the same time, Michele Tocci had his short stack in the middle and couldn't spin it up.
