Tikhov Shows Moore the Goods; Naim Goes For It
Ivan Tikhov raised to 60,000 under the gun, Bradley Moore three-bet to 150,000 in the small blind, and Tikhov called.
The flop came K♠8♣5♥ and Moore checked to Tikhov who bet 150,000. Moore called and they both checked the 2♣ turn.
The river was the 5♠ and Moore led out for 225,000. Tikhov then moved all in, and Moore called for 600,000. "Nuts," Tikhov announced, turning over 5♦5♣ for quads. Moore tossed Q♥Q♠ into the muck as he made his exit.
At another table, David Savocka had shoved for 385,000 in early position and Gal Naim called in middle position.
David Savocka: A♦5♦
Gal Naim: 6♥6♠
Savocka couldn't find an ace on the Q♥4♠5♠4♣10♥ board and Naim's sixes stayed in the lead to earn him the knockout. "Sometimes you have to go for it," Naim said.
