Jose Gomez Casillas opened under the gun to 285,000 and Manig Loeser called in the cutoff. Alexandru Izuric was in the small blind and shoved around 1,500,000, and Casillas quickly reshoved behind. Loeser folded.

Izuric was in great shape for a double, and kept his lead through the 9♦2♠7♥ flop. A 9♥ on the turn gave Casillas a flush draw and put some chop outs on board, and it was the latter of the two that came in as the 7♠ river meant they chopped it up.

Obermeier then bet 450,000 and Loeser again called. Both players checked the 5♠ river, and Loeser showed Q♥J♣ for top pair. "I should've moved all in," Obermeier said, tossing A♦Q♦ into the muck.
