Palevic, Velasco Chop Up Casillas' Big Raise
Level 36
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Jose Gomez Casillas raised to 2,200,000 under the gun before Rifat Palevic reraised to 4,700,000 in the hijack. Juan Velasco quickly stuck in his last 4,625,000 in the cutoff, and Casillas took a few seconds before folding A♠9♥.
Juan Velasco: A♥K♠
Rifat Palevic: A♣K♦
Both players showed the same hand and were poised to chop the pot as the flop came A♦J♠3♠. The 5♠ turn gave Velasco a draw to a flush, but the 4♣ came on the river and they split up Casillas' chips.
