Eduard Bagrov was raking in a double-up, after his 305,000 stack went into the middle with 9♠9♣ and cracked Nicolas Antouard's A♦A♥ on the K♠J♣9♥7♣2♠ runout.
Sergiu Cornea made it 75,000 to go from the button and Idan Nagauker three-bet shoved the small blind for 475,000. Felix Kretschmann shoved the big blind with a monster stack of almost 2,000,000, and Cornea folded.
Idan Nagauker: A♣K♣
Felix Kretschmann: A♥Q♣
Nagauker was in the lead with big slick, and held through the 6♦3♥J♥5♦9♦ runout to earn himself a double-up.
Pavel Sergheiciuc raised to 60,000 in middle position, Frederic Thiriet moved all in for 275,000 in the hijack, and Sergheiciuc called.
Frederic Thiriet: A♠4♠
Pavel Sergheiciuc: A♦10♠
Thiriet was dominated and at risk, but the 7♦5♠3♠ flop gave him outs with both straight and flush draws. The J♦ turn wasn't one of them, but Thiriet hit the 2♥ on the river to make a wheel and earn the double up.
Villiel Kordonskiy opened to 60,000 in early position and Jose Gomez Casillas three-bet to a hefty 340,000 from the next seat. When the action got back to Kordonskiy, he took a moment before he shoved for 700,000 even, and Casillas snap-called.
Villiel Kordonskiy: A♥A♦
Jose Gomez Casillas : 10♠10♦
Kordonskiy had the goods and the three-bet of Casillas must have been music to his ears. There was still a runout to sweat, but no drama was seen on the 3♣8♠4♥9♦3♥ board, and Kordonskiy doubled up.
A big pot of 800,000 had developed by the river, on a board of 10♠9♦3♦4♣3♥, in a hand between Mateusz Kaniowski in middle position, and Felix Kretschmann in the big blind.
Kretschmann jammed for a pot-sized bet of 800,000, and after a period of time in the tank, Kaniowski forfeited the pot.
Andreas Loesche opened to 70,000 from the cutoff, and received calls from Bogdan Ilies and Miroslav Matula in the blinds.
Action was checked to Loesche on the 9♥9♣6♣ flop, who fired out a bet of 100,000.
Ilies responded with a check-jam to 540,000, and after a bit of thought, Loesche made the call.
Bogdan Ilies: 10♠9♠
Andreas Loesche: A♣Q♣
Ilies had two pair, nines and sixes, versus Loesche's flush draw.
The 3♣ hit on the turn to put Loesche in front, but it was followed by the 10♦ river to improve Ilies to a full house, much to his delight, who gave the table a whack in celebration and pumped his fist as he was shipped the double-up.
Around 500,000 was in the pot as Rifat Palevic and Antonello Ferraiuolo went heads-up to a flop of K♣7♠2♥. Palevic then bet 75,000 from the hijack and Ferraiuolo called on the button.
Palevic bet another 210,000 on the 6♥ turn and Ferraiuolo again called. The river was the 5♦ and Palevic moved all in for 200,000. Ferraiuolo snap-called and turned over K♦Q♣, but Palevic had K♠K♥ for top set to win the pot and double up.
