Dorian Melchers raised to 120,000 in middle position and Felix Kretschmann three-bet to 305,000 on the button. He hadn't even finished putting in the chips before Juan Velasco shoved for 1,710,000 in the small blind. Melchers folded, but Kretschmann snap-called.

Juan Velasco: QQ All in
Felix Kretschmann: AK

It was a classic flip with more than 3,500,000 at stake, and Velasco took out his phone to film the action as the flop came 853. The 10 turn kept him in the lead, while the Q river improved him to a set, and Velasco doubled up.

Albert Ruppert moved all in for 405,000 on the button and Manig Loeser called in the small blind.

Felix Kretschmann
Felix Kretschmann

Felix Kretschmann opened to 125,000 under the gun and was met with a three-bet to 365,000 from Peter Cieslik in the next seat. Action folded back to Kretschmann, who called.

The flop came 10108, and Kretschmann checked to his opponent. Cieslik jammed for around 1,300,000, and was snapped by Kretschmann, who covered Cieslik.

Peter Cieslik: AK All in
Felix Kretschmann: 1010

Cieslik had jammed into Kretschmann's flopped quads and was drawing dead; the Q turn and 2 river completed the runout.

Cornea Good at Showdown

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sergiu Cornea
Sergiu Cornea

There was 600,000 in the middle on a flop of QJJ in a hand between Frederic Delval, under the gun, and Cristobal Ochoa and Sergiu Cornea in the blinds.

The flop was checked to the 4 turn, where Ochoa led out with a bet of 125,000, which failed to shake off either opponent.

The K river completed the board and was also knuckled through.

Ochoa had 85 for the missed flush draw, and Delval mucked when Cornea tabled AK for two pair, kings and jacks.

Gicovanu Rivers Quads

Level 28 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Marius Gicovanu
Marius Gicovanu

Marius Gicovanu opened to 125,000 from middle position and was called by Miroslav Matula to his left and Sergiu Cornea, who defended from the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of K85, and after Cornea and Gicovanu checked, Matula bet 130,000. Cornea folded, but Gicovanu called.

Matula fired a second barrel of 230,000 on the 4 turn that Gicovanu check-called again.

Gicovanu checked the K river. Matula luckily checked back, since he had run into Gicovanu's quads with KK.
