In the very next hand, Guilbert found himself all in again, this time against Michel Molenaar. Guilbert again had A♠Q♦, while Molenaar held A♥3♣ and improved to two pair on the 7♠A♣3♦K♠8♥ board, leaving Guilbert with crumbs.
A few hands later, Guilbert was all in once more, this time against Scott Bohlman. Guilbert had Q♦7♦ and Bohlman 8♥7♥. The board ran out 5♠K♥J♠3♣6♦, and this time the queen fell in Guilbert’s favor, securing him a double up and giving him another chance in the tournament.
A few hands later, he busted.
