Punnat Punsri kicked things off in the cutoff with a raise to 35,000. Ihor Popyk on the button made the call and Chengxu Hu in the small blind moved all in for 100,000.
With the action back on Punsri, he four bet to 165,000, which triggered Popyk to move all in for over 400,000. Punsri quickly released his hand, leaving Hu and Popyk to showdown.
Chengxu Hu: A♦Q♥
Ihor Popyk: A♥K♠
The board ran out clean for Popyk until the turn with 4♦6♥8♦8♠. But the river brought the Q♦, giving Hu two pair and a double up on the bubble.
The pot stood at around 350,000, and the board was fully fanned out with 2♥2♣7♠8♣Q♣. Andre Marques checked in the small blind to Lei Yu under the gun, who fired a pot-sized bet of 350,000. Marques took his time before making the call, sending the hand to showdown.
Yu only flashed Jx, while Marques tabled A♣3♥ for ace high, which was enough to take down a decent pot.
Biao Ding opened from under the gun to 30,000, and Rui Figueiredo in early position three bet to 85,000.
Ding called, and they saw a flop of 9♦J♠5♣, where Figueiredo continued for 50,000. Ding then moved all in, covering Figueiredo, and he snap-called.
Rui Figueiredo: A♦A♣
Biao Ding: Q♥J♥
Figueiredo was ahead with pocket aces, but the turn brought the sweat with the K♥, giving Ding a straight draw.
The 10♦ on the river completed the straight for Ding, and Figueiredo was eliminated as the bubble of this event.
The remaining 53 players are now heading into a 60-minute dinner break. Play will resume around 9:05 p.m. local time.

Giorgos Onisiforou was all in for 75,000 in early position, and both Christian Pedersen and Mario Diaz Quilez made the call.
All three players checked through the 9♦9♥10♠10♥3♦ board all the way to showdown. Onisiforou stood up and said, “I have nothing,” tabling 7♦5♦ for a missed hand.
Pedersen revealed 2♠2♣, and Quilez showed 6♦6♣, but neither could beat the board. Onisiforou’s seven high was enough to triple him up, causing a lot of laughter at the table. “Now you will win,” Pedersen added.
Dario Sammartino was under the gun with just 30,000 left when he decided to go all in blind. Christian Pedersen in middle position made it 50,000, and action folded to Derk Van Luijk who raised to 250,000. Pedersen mucked, leaving the two players heads up.
Dario Sammartino: A♠K♠
Derk Van Luijk: K♦K♣
Sammartino had not looked at his cards and was pleasantly surprised to find ace king, but the board ran out 4♣5♣5♦6♦Q♦, giving no help and sending him to the exit.
