Kudzmanas Takes the Chip Lead

On the Q74 flop, Konishi check-raised to 2,800,000 over a bet of 1,100,000. Kudzmanas called with his top pair.

The 9 turn gave Konishi a straight draw, and he checked. Kudzmanas fired out 2,900,000 and took down the pot.

Bibov Takes More from Zhu

Level 35 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Hengtao Zhu limped in from the small blind and called when Nikolay Bibov made it 2,100,000 from the big blind.

It checked through to the river for the board to read Q2658. Zhu fired out 2,000,000 and was quickly called.

Zhu tabled 76 for a pair of sixes but lost out to Bibov's QJ, which made top pair.

A Three-Barrel Bluff by Bibov

Level 35 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

Nikolay Bibov opened to 1,200,000 from under the gun and Hengtao Zhu defended from the big blind.

Bibov continued for 1,400,000 on a flop of J35. Zhu check-called and checked the K turn.

Bibov fired a second barrel of 2,700,000 but Zhu didn't back down and called once again.

The 8 river landed on the felt and after Zhu checked, Bibov bet 5,300,000 with only Q10 for a missed straight draw. Zhu went into the tank and folded AJ.

The 1085 flop checked through to the 3 turn, where Konishi bet 1,600,000. Zhu called.

The K river gave Konishi a set of kings, and he fired out 1,300,000. Zhu folded.

Nikolay Bibov QQ raised to 1,200,000 from under the gun. Hengtao Zhu A7 defended his big blind and proceeded to make the nuts on the J64 flop. He check-called for 1,100,000, bringing in the J turn. Both players checked and the 9 completed the board.

Zhu continued to slow play his monster and checked. Bibov fired out 2,200,000 and then faced a raise of 10,000,000. Bibov quickly laid down his queens, and Zhu returned to the top of the counts.

Facing this raise Kudzmanas quickly folded.
